THE HEART OF A WRITTER

Upon forbidden giving tongue to
It became a taboo,widening the mouth
Our words despised
We dare not utter a word
"For is theirs"they say

We are voiceless

Yes,agreed,we are
By shutting our mouths
"The truth is buried"they thought
How wrong they are

Our words will still come out
Not in voice but in ink
They will read without a blink
And to their hearts it will cling

By deafening the worlds ear
Our words will have no effect
How wrong they are

Our words will still come out
Not into ears but in scrolls
It will be passed on
From generation to generation
Like the holly book

Let them take off my head
My words will forever live

Let them cut off my hands
Deafen my ears
Blind my eye
That I may not write

My words are already written
On the tablets of my heart
My genes takes it to my children

Generation to generation.

This is a powerfully written poem, full of passion, showing how it goes in reality when people are being regularly shut down, as far as not being able to communicate or speak freely. Your message could be taken as far as a group of people or a state -- people may be shut down from speaking freely, but there will always be an underground river of communication that tells things like they really are. This poem could also describe a family or group of friends where nobody is allowed to express their true feelings, so everyone is acting . . . but when they are away from the heavy influence of the group, an individual will always revert back to his/her true way of seeing & feeling. we have to keep writing...because there are always going to be those who are reading, listening, understanding and moving beneath the words....knowing of their importance.
