Within, They Speak

Within, They Speak

A Poem by Broken Like An Angel

Set fire to the rain.
Cause your own pain.
Curl up into a ball.
Speak to the wall.
Talk to your mind.
Sanity you wont find.
Straight jacket tight around you.
No one to turn to.
Treated as an animal. Crazy in their eyes.
Victim of their lies.
Cry in silence. Coming near.
In the darkness. Feeling Fear.
Falling down the rabbit hole.
Impaled by a steel pole.
Your brain is fine now they tell you.
If it worked, no one knew.
More experiments, more lies.
Empty halls, invisible cries.
