The poet that fights with words

I am my own person I'm who I want to be,

 I am not weak, can't you see,

 if you can't understand or if you just don't care,

 go on go away then just get out of my hair,

I'm fed up of people judging me telling me my DNA,

Just leave me now, please I pray,

 I am living in my own world that's where I want to be,

 and anything else that anyone tries that isn't just me.

I feel stronger, more powerful now that I've made my decisions,

 I realise that my words I just painful incidents,

 in all fairness this poem is in a serious as I thought,

 but that will say who I am that's silly crazy person for whom I fought.

I'm sorry that I'm different, I'm sorry that you care,

 but you're just being stupid, let's just leave it there. 

I am a poet, I express myself in writing,

 however if you hurt me, with words I'll keep fighting.

What an emotional but beautifully written poem. The voice in the poem is wonderful, I really feel like I understand each powerful word you placed in the poem. It is so true, you must keep fighting even if it is in merely writing and words. "The pen is mightier than the sword." An exceptional read and I hope you keep writing. Great work! :)
