Glory

Glory

A Poem by Cypress Cain
"

This one's dedicated to a certain someone.

"

She is lovely

He is needing

He is focused mostly on breeding

She is lonely

He is fleeting

She is focused mostly on healing

She is saddened

He is weeping

The truth is that their hearts are beating

The breaking inside is not tainted by

Selfishness or insurrection

It’s unadulterated, purely painted

Sorrow and despair

She is broken

And he is bleeding

Why is their love yet still breathing?

She is teary

He is angry

How their passion burns so brightly.

She is helpless

He is hopeless

Must they go through one more trial.

The breaking inside is of comprised

Righteousness and true affliction

No duplicity nor ancient hist’ry

Can explain away the pain.

But glory is shining

Left of the moon and in full view

A peace unfolding

Page after page of grace and love

A holy awakening

From dark dreams to forgiveness and truth

Oh, she is lovely

Oh, he is needing

And they are focused on His leading.
