PrinciplesA Poem by Tythis is a serious issueA small beetle lands on my leg, I brush it off and watch it attempt to flip itself back over once it hits the ground. Once it succeeds, I step on it. You see, if a human flew towards me, and landed on my arm, I wouldn't exactly just let him get away with that, so why do beetles get special treatment? Just because they're light in weight? What if when a beetle landed on you, it weighed 350 pounds? You would be pretty pissed, if not dead. See what I mean? You hate me for killing that beetle, but really, its a principle. We can't allow every little thing to land on every little thing it wants without consequence. Thats how wars are started and thats how people get killed. I, for one, am not going to stand by, while our world falls apart because of the actions of these f*****g bugs. © 2016 Ty |
