Experiment: Poet's Pen. (PLEASE READ!!! NOT A STORY!!)

An experiment I'm making, and I'll need your help.

I am going go try(as I'm not that good lol) To create a text editor specifically for poetry.
It will also act as a poem organizer, and you're able to open any poem(in a specific file) in the system.(I'm also thinking of categories, but one step at a time) I'm in my second year of studying computer programming. The only languages I know are java and c#, and I am more confident in c# then java.

Since I will be using c#, the program will be limited to windows systems, I'm sorry.

I would like everyone to list different features this program can/should have. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED/OBVIOUS. Example, I was not planning to use formatting options(text size, text color, font etc), as it is a lot of work for nothing, but if the demand is great, I will..again...try to code it.

Please send in your suggestions! Also, if I ever actually do this, the software will be released for free, for everyone :) This is an experiment to increase my experience with computer programming, and at the same time contributing something to my hobby :)

Sounds interesting. A database to organize the writings would be very handy. Some ideas: a keyword search that searches throughout all the writings. A pre-declared signature and with one click, the signature is at the bottom of the writing. If you need any help at all don't hesitate to ask. Meanwhile if I come up with any better I'll post again.
