First Love Last Love

First Love Last Love

A Poem by UC Poika
"

To the one who turned me down.

"

I loved you once and now I have loved you more
My feelings perhaps are greater than they were then
Memories that should have died just rowed one oar
Thus it took a long time traveling back again.
You left and I sat behind wipers in the rain
Unable to think you actually needed to
Or even had to explore as I saw the pane
Wiped clean again and again thinking of you
And to this very day I think of you and no why
Has ever come to me that I can see
So, loving forever was so I thought a lie
A damnable heresy . . . then you split with me
The pain was horrible but borne in the end
But, through it all I still loved you and hope I don't offend.

In truth I was an a*s and wish I had a chance to make it up to your namesake.

Did you have fun? Intrigue, supposed villains , vulnerable women, outraged family and friends, my breakdowns have the elements that make up a pretty good fiction, not good enough to write about but a.. more..
