Lesson Learned

You should never waste your time with someone who doesn't want to see you smile.

You said I brightened up your life

And moved out four days later

I guess we've always had distinct definitions of light.

You said we were meant to be,

Together until the end

I guess you knew there would be one and left me alone to fight.

You said that you would marry me,

And that we would have kids

I guess the idea alone simply made me feel sick.

You said so many awful things

And hurt me more than anyone

I guess I'm just a slow learner and you are just a prick.
