Early One Morning

Early One Morning

A Poem by ~Unashamed Love~

Take it now, where is the flame?
Throw me, hurt me
Tear this soul apart,
Leave me burning with your name.

As soon as I look inside,
The distant evil that you hide
Coming back to the surface,
Leaving deep scars on my face.

It hurts so good when it bites,
Cold and warm skin ignites
The fire that never goes out
You and I were made to shout...

Your writing is so vivid, alive with imagery and a deep music. There is a wondrous impact in your description of this shared fire, and your last lines are a perfect summary. Beautiful, profound write!
