It wasnt supposed to be like this

life wasn't supposed to be this way 

torment and pain is all I feel 

where has my happiness gone 

will it ever return or am I 

doomed to live this life of depression 

sadness consumes my heart and soul

welcoming it like a long lost friend 

seems to be the only one I ever had 

painful thoughts comfort me 

why is it like this am I 

the only one who feels this way 

can there be more like me 

or am I the only one 

who lives in the shadows 

where I feel same and home

living inside my own hell
