Dirge Of A Beast

Dirge Of A Beast

A Poem by Khal Attero

In this nights of blue
A resident of the darkly weeping forest,
A man, roaming in shame,
Unhollowed, souless and free
In solitude dedicated his life,
For he must, for he is a beast
To the human eye.
For once, the pitiful creature
Desires a presence of a companion,
But his fate is sealed by his cruel thee,
Born under a unlucky star.
For ages the man asked thyself,
For what purpose? Why must he suffer?
Why can't he ever find joy,
Why is his fate so cruel..
No simphaty has ever given,
Nor someone ever will...
Forever in grief...
Damned for eternity..
Damned till death...

A poem that relate-able is a powerful poem and this poem did just that. The man in this poem is one whom gone against society view of "normal" and has lived life punished for it.
"For he must, for he is a beast
To the human eye."
Great work poet.
