Just a really bad poem

It's funny to think that you can spend over a year with someone
And they can just throw you away
Like you're nothing but trash
Nothing but an unwanted memory.

I gave you everything
And now you want nothing to do with me
You were my world
I thought I was yours.

I'm still holding on
Just hoping that one day
You'll come back to me
And love me again
But that's nothing but a childish dream.

I want you to know how hurt I am
But you're too scared to face me
I was there for you when you cried
Why can't you do the same?
Why can you not man up?

You're listening to everyone around you
Listen to your heart
You tell me you love me
Just follow your feelings
Don't take into consideration
Other people's opinions.

This is just tearing me apart
And I just don't know what to do
You can't just tell me to move on
It's not that easy
You know you will always have my heart.

No other person will have my love
Not now not ever
You can't tell me otherwise
Don't tell me to forget
Cause those are the best memories that I have.
