Sound of Music

I wrote this poem when i was listening to my favorite song. :)

The sound of music is like a sweet escape.

The lyrics slowly hypnotizes me

and the beats sent me into a black hole.

The rhythms create a dream, a “La La” land.

In that beautiful “La La” Land,

Colors fly, birds sing, and stars shine;

and there, I cry, I laugh, I play, I dance, and I sing.

Sometimes I wish that I could stay there forever,

but I can’t because sooner or later,

The music will end and I will have to return to reality.

Even though I know that I can press replay,

For a moment, I feel sad and depress or even anxious

that the music will end for good,

but then, I open my eyes,

 look at my iPod, and press replay,

and slowly drift back to my “La La” Land.
