Leave love here,

Where it has died.

Beyond all fear...

Beneath tears cried.

 

Let it wither

On the vine;

Gone forever...

Severed ties that bind.

 

Let love lay,

Upon the sod;

Atop the clay,

Before it's God.

 

Where it has died,

Leave it sit,

No tears cried...

All goodbyes met.

 

Let the sun,

Erase love's soul,

As death runs...

Dried , until no longer whole.

 

Set it free,

Just let it lay...

It all was to be...

So forget this day.

 

At sun-up...

New love is born.

Begin anew...

Tomorrow morn!

The positivity and "renewed energy" vibe of the last four lines is really lovely. As hard as heart break or love lost can be to overcome, we have to find a way to do so eventually. That is the only way we can continue our lives to the fullest and find love once more. Great job. :)

oh man! one of the most difficult live's lessons to let go a passionate embedded love ... might as well ask to cut ones head off :{ almost disrespectful to tell someone that time heals ..but it is an ancient truism that is actually true .. and it doesn't die ..it remains with memories ...a fertile ground for patience and compassion ... love to you Valentine! the vulnerability and hope thru the pain in your poem is loud and clear :) love your closing verse!!
