Love Me No More

Love Me No More

A Poem by Emily Jellybean :)

Stone cold
Icy to the touch
Hard to hold
How much is too much?

Broken hearts
Mangled minds
Life lived in parts
Hardly held together by binds.

Bleeding out
One last cry
Traveling down the last route
One last goodbye

Sleeping soundly
Finally peaceful
This option found so profoundly.
This option is slightly blissful.

But I miss you
I miss that grin
Do you miss me too?
I guess the sadness is starting to kick in

Why do we put ourselves through the pain?
Why do we insist on opening old wounds?

Clouds fill up with rain
They overflow
The oceans have more water than they can contain
Why didn't we know?

These wounds can't heal
This heart can't mend
This pain is real!
Our worries can't be carried away by the wind

I love you.
You hate me.
I want you
You're done with me.

Your words are filled with the agony of loving... the once warm life now turned cold and hard... what was fire now turned to ash... it aches even more that one walked away... moved on... while the other remained, lost in the onceness of the loving....
