Centuries of Synthetics

Centuries of Synthetics

A Poem by Vanessa

Only once we see that life is ‘but a dream within a dream’,
Masked by layers of metals and ores,
That close us in on wanting more,
Of synthetics and symmetry that does ill to truly change,
Of megapixels and coffee cups.
Only when the foggy lenses clear
From our view on the world,
Can we truly say that life is freedom
And consciousness matters,
And spirit is life.

Thanks for the review a couple months back. It's been forever since I checked this site, but I really do appreciate it.

Love this, by the way. So much truth here... "spirit is life", right on!
