Rage

Spiteful rage.

Raging tears your eyes reject

calm the blue tides I sail on.

They travel through my veins

and comfort my heart,

quenching its thirst for fire.

The rivers of tears rolling down your pillow

pool into the lake I bathe in.

I hope the tides never leave you alone.

I hope you forever sail in pain.

Sadness and anger...i feel that here. A quiet rage perhaps....a brooding intensity.

The eloquence of your word choice does subdue your rage somewhat. But it is the quiet, fuming anger that is often the most dangerous kind.

I enjoyed the write. Nice work.

I think this more anger than rage. Rage would gave you gnashing your teeth, spewing bile, expletives....Well I think so.
