Let Soul

Let Soul

A Poem by VassD

A sonnet of renewal.

What hearts have spoken, let words now speak

What lives have lived, let words revive

What lies have forgotten, let words repeat

What tears have mourned, let words now cry

What age has hidden, let ink reveal

What speech has erred, let ink make true

What hearts have burned, let ink reseal

What minds have killed let ink make new

What swords have stood, let heart break down

What knives have slaughtered, let heart rebuild

What cruelty has hindered, let heart refound

What silence smothered, let heart now gild

What life has faced, let soul set free

What sorrow has murdered, let soul receive
