Pretend I'm Not Here

Pretend I'm Not Here

A Poem by VelvetKissesXo

Self expression is a huge part of my life,
it's the way I sing, produce, in the way I write.

So, when I speak with depressing words,
like about how much I hate life,
Stop thinking I want attention
and that I need your advice.

When I say that I have no way out,
and there's nothing left here,
I am truly being sincere.

I don't care whether you give me attention or
if you leave me to rot,
I just want your judgement to stop.

I understand my writings might disturb some and bring you a little fear,
but don't pay me any mind, just pretend  I'm not here.
