Dusk's Magic, Dawn's Disappearence

Dusk's Magic, Dawn's Disappearence

A Poem by ~VertoAtrum~

When the day turns to night, I wonder,

If we watched it, would it still change?

Whenever I look away, it seem to darken,

An optical illusion, magic? It’s strange,

How the sky is black one moment now,

The next it’s devoid of stars and moon,

But one look away and it seems to morph,

And Twilight says the day comes soon

This is like a protein shake of thought: nutritious, easy to digest. I drink lots of protein shakes FYI. but the thoughtfulness behind this is great. Those existential questions, posed by the observable phenomena of the natural world. Well written, I want to read more of your stuff

ME

About
Just a spec of Galaxy dust in a vast world. A wild predator with a heart as soft as silk. A soul deeper than an ocean in a crowd of puddles. Simply, me. more..
