Lap of the master

Lap of the master

A Poem by Vin
"

" May you all be graced with the truth. "

"
It's the time to leave this place
All I wanted to give you was the taste of grace.
I want you to remember that this is not a good-bye
when I've already made you a part of me hereby!

Never drop a tear of grief
for nothing here is bigger than life.
Let it spill when you are joyful,
ecstatic about your being, unaware.

Remember, we all have to go,
but how well we stay before that
is the gauge to see our life
and how deep we touched all around.

When my master was about to part
he touched my forehead and told me:
You did transcend the tangible,
surpassed diseases with ease.
Now all you have to do
is to madden the valley with grace.

That's what I did with you
when all were spoiled without a clue
Don't keep me in you as a person
as I'm the truth which shall never subside.

It's the time to leave this place
All I wanted to give you was the taste of grace.

LOVE...

Love this for the high originality! Inspirational writing can be a little pigeon-holish & you've broken way free of the cliches. I subscribe to your msg 100%. To live the best life, one must stop worrying about death or infirmity of any kind. The older I get (I'm 63), the more I see old people (my age) divided into two groups -- the ones who live like they are going to live forever & the ones that are completely steeped in their maladies, as if visualizing their decline daily! You give great advice for maintaining a healthy outlook on life & death. You do it nicely lyrical & with graceful imagery that shows instead of preaches (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Yes, we must all live our lives to the fullest relishing every moment. When we leave, we can only hope others will remember us and tell the stories of what they remember. I liked this one. Lydi**

dear Vin... the Valley is a place where we must all pass through.
About a year ago, I visited with a visitor in a medical lobby of a
treatment facility. Before we parted ways... she leaned over and said to me,
"You are a 'people whisperer' ". That is the most precious compliment
I could ever desire. A time of Grace is a time in the Valley. I try to accept
the gift of time as a blessing to others, and in turn, I will be blessed.
Your poetry is divinely inspired. truly, Pat

Hey Pat,
As human beings, we should pass through the valley. But once we transcend that- then.. read more
A compelling write - - we being earthlings do have a journey and you caught the reason why humans are graced with caring for this beautiful planet - - from the lap of treasured truth and penned with encouragement to think, speak and act honestly - a read to remember and thank you dear poet-friend.
