 Once Vicky and his colleague were on their way to office. Vicky asked what time it was. His colleague said he had no idea.

 So Vicky replied,  "It doesn’t matter. Even if we are late, at least we are thinking about being on time. That’s enough."

Well, this is how most people’s spirituality is. They are thinking about it, reading about it, talking about it... so what if they are no way close to it.

Good idea, Vin. Religion is usually only talked about by those who attend services. Spirituality on the other hand is something different. One seems to be for a gathering of peoples of like mind, while spirituality is very much an individual experience.
Which is why you'll find most people who experienced the 60's when it was declared "God is dead" were more into spirituality...a search for meaning...an experimentation taken willingly to explore other religions.
I believe most of them are more accepting of different ideas.

That you are saying about modern organised religions. There are ancient eastern practices which are unorganised yet so inward that itself is a path to the ultimate. Every step and process in those are so well arranged.

To me, the most important part of your message is unspoken. That is, action instead of talk is the measure of each person's true spirituality. I love when a writer can throw down an allegorical situation without the need to explain anything. You have to trust your reader to get his/her own meaning from an allegory, & this you have done. I really love the core comparison of "thinking about being on time" . . . it's so hilarious becuz it's such a fittingly sarcastic example to use for comparison! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

For me, a strong sense of spirituality is a strong sense of responsibility to one's self and then to others. In any religion, everyone is taught to love, care and be kind to each other. If people worried as much about the well-being of their spirit as they do adhering to whats expected of them, there might would be more spirits in Heaven.

I think slowly the ideology of heaven above should collapse soon. People should be made to believe that whatever it is, is here and we create it.

If people are made to work to time they put less in as it inclines them to clock watch all day and so do less.

But of course this piece can relate to religion. Does thinking about religion and not going to church make you less in the eyes of god?

Does God see anyone less with hi eyes? I dont think he sees good and bad, virtue and sin blah blah. He is formless and such is his view.
May be it is the truth that is hidden in all and one which can be found with no effort!
