As I watch the walls collapse

Beneath a hollow shell of lies

With paper skin and running blood

Feel below the fading light

The cut to penetrate the thickness of the skin

I feel the sting that separates

Cleanse my body of this sin

The darkness that grows inside

Like a cancer that's feeding

Reflecting behind her eyes...

The screams turn to silence

The hollow voices of regret

Above the damned

Below the flames

Burn into the endless night

The pain that suffocates

A prayer that escapes my lips

So say the last

I'm washing back the bitter taste of what I am
