Memories

Memories

A Poem by Virellius an Fiach
"

This is about having memories your mind has made you believe are truth. Happens with psychos like me. XD

"

Memories?

While a frigid warmth covers my body, that soft cold chill with an inner heat,

I wonder:

what memories are these?

Whose?

On that grassy, windblown hill,

with the green meadow all around, where you and I spent our days.

Or is it?

Did I simply dream you?

Who are you?

A summer dress with no face.

A shade of a phantom past.

Time I never spent.

A longing unrequited.

Dust in the wind.

But what respite are such fantasies!

I can relate to this poem. It reminds me how I feel when I can't remember if something was a dream or actually happened. This is what happens when you live inside your head too much! Ha!

I would give a long lengthy and most likely horrendously boring description of the philosophy I happen to follow, or the books I indulge in, or what Idol is my favorite, but that would be a bit of a r.. more..
