Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by Voice Crowe

The storm inside has won
The anger, the fear, the sorrow, the pain
It won
She let him go
Not just for the sake of her mind
But for the sake of his heart
And in turn, she broke her own
Oh the curse of living for others
She does not yet understand to be her own person
She does not yet understand that it is okay
So she breaks a cycle
Of love and torment
To free him of further pain
Maybe one day she will set everything aside
And she will be able to take his hand and say
This time everything will be alright
But that day is not here, it is not now
When? She may never know

Sad to read tales of a broken heart but you are not alone here. Very expressive in the description of your pain.without expecting it maybe there's hope

I wrote my first story at the age of six which awarded me entrance into a young readers and writers convention, although the story has long been lost. Books have always been my escape from reality, es.. more..
