One finger on the ledge and
Feet pointing into the Infinite
The abyss screaming into our eyes
However close we are
Muscles screaming in ache

Deeper into the deep Blue
Its firm grip crushing our skull but
We sink further still
Despite the imminent Doom that
Creeps into our mind

Close your eyes and
Pretend it isn’t
Shut your mouth and be
What you’re not and
Maybe you won’t be

Faith in you
Based only in desperation

Surely
Not larger than us
