Never Ever-After

Never Ever-After

A Poem by Whitney Kleinhuizen

Salvation escaping between lips but never found.
                the mind split
Asunder while demons dance behind eyes so lost.
                a life that
Veers between light and dark continually, is a life of
Exhaustion. knowing while among light,
within time that terrifying darkness and consuming

Misery will return once again like a long, lost friend.
oh where, oh where is a saving grace? where is an
Ever-after for the worn and weary, lost and lonely, desperate and dying?

About
I write out of expression. I don't know all the "rules of writing" and quite honestly don't really care. I write what I know. I write what I feel. I write beyond the eyes. I write from the heart. A.. more..
