Cameras

Cameras

A Poem by WeakFreak

I wish my eyes were cameras,

To record all of my life,

Remember all the good times,

And appreciate the bad.

I wish my eyes were cameras,

That clicked with every blink,

And captured every moment,

Of reality.

I wish my eyes were cameras,

To steal the things I see,

I see things very differently.

I wish my eyes were cameras,

I'd never miss a thing,

Through the bad and through the pain.

I wish my eyes were cameras,

Make a funny face,

Laugh at all the things,

That make me hide away.

I wish my eyes were cameras,

So that I could never forget,

That face you made,

When you said my name.

I could very much relate to your poem, WeakFreak. I truly enjoyed reading!
Beautiful piece of art!

Quite readable, WeakFreak. We all share your lament sometimes. Having cam phones helps capture poignant moments sometimes, although I personally have trouble a not-so-friendly device that's hard to rush. By the time I get set up, the moment is past You give us simple but effective imagery, with repetition of lines that keep the narrative simple but thorough. The nice climax brings it together. I might dispense with all the comma clutter (poets can do that). Keep up the good work.

I'm kind of odd, and kind of normal, I'm good at faking things and I like writing cause I can tell the truth and no one thinks anything of it cause to them it's just a poem, or just a story. And maybe.. more..
