Shield of Glass

Shield of Glass

A Poem by WeakFreak

we all have shields

I'll shatter like your shield is glass,
I can't protect you unless you leave,
cause my broken pieces would pierce you till you bleed,
and I can't stand to let you see, the broken bitter bits of me.

I have an empty glass shield,
locked somewhere deep inside of me,
but before that shield a diamond shield is protecting me,
only your diamond bullets are what find me.

Your shielded army cannot stand my swords and my grenades,
my armor falls away as my defenses fade,
but yet your shields of glass are still no match for my attacks.

I am my own shield of glass,
my army retaliates,
I'll be a broken mess inside,
but my armor will never fall away,
I'll die and lose a war all inside my armor,
behind my glass plated diamond shield.

I'm kind of odd, and kind of normal, I'm good at faking things and I like writing cause I can tell the truth and no one thinks anything of it cause to them it's just a poem, or just a story. And maybe.. more..
