Going Home

A poem that I made again listening to a song, but this time it's related to a novel I'm writing. Something that probable won't never happen there.

        

After all hardships

 

after the sufferings

after all those losses

after all that pain

 

the time has come

 

one last step

one last check

one last reassurance

 

we are going back

to the most beautiful of all places -

“Home” -

 

 

after our long exile

Oh Man!!! Gee.... That is so true... that happened to me this summer when i finally was able to go for 4 months back to my country, after (today, actually) 10 years of being in the US... even though i hadnt been there in 10 years, the moment i got out of the plane, i was "Home". And was able to get back to life as "normal". It did however meant even more hardship and losses while i was there, but... it was home, and it made it easier. Then... the story repeated itself when it was time to come back to the US... then, before landing i wrote in my journal that i was going back "home". I really, really liked this. =) Thank you for writing it..
