A Chapter by YouoweYoupay

We cannot stop the sunrise.

We cannot stop the sunrise,

We cannot call upon angels,

Sugar-coated butterflies

Delights not your glare

Like viper venom in fluid ice

Rebelling. Tearing what is not there,

All the God-poured rivers would not suffice

This eternal thirst.

Is not yet the worst.

For what mockingly lurks

Within polished silverware

Tangled in misdeeds I could disguise

Is not yet the saddest weight to bear

Purposely crawling counter-clockwise

As man-painted despair goodbyes

We cannot stop the sunrise

We cannot inhale with no air,

Night by night black feathers bloom

Yet valiant steel of daylight

Would spare not the gloom

Of dark beauty in a ruby glare

Of Sparrow Cries within Human Plight

Of the virgin womb

Yielding the wicked heir…

Dark!! Love the last stanza especially.
you do relaize that everything in the Universe dances around counter-clockwise.

I like the artwork and the strong words in this poem. It felt like a lead into a story of fear and mystery. No weakness in this poem. Just a dance with words into fear and thoughts. A outstanding poem.

This is a dark, compelling write. One the reader takes in again and again - Wondering which jack-booted inevitability looms - For the poet and reader alike. Brilliant job~

nice....i like the idea of crawling counter-clockwise,,,,we cannot resist the cogs in motion, yet we are sometimes in denial of that fact. Good work.

This is really good just one thing (And this is me being a nerd) You should change Python to viper or cobra (Viper sounds best) because Pythons don't have venom they constrict their prey (And I'm sorry for sounding like a total nerd) :)
besides that it sounds awesome!!!! Keep it up!!!!
