Pretty Stars

The pretty stars will always be there

The pretty stars will always be fair

The pretty stars will share their pretty lights

The bight pretty stars

Can't always shine

Nonetheless they never consign the sky

Perhaps they are something else

From another galaxy's eye

perhaps to another they hold valency

I want to meet a pretty star

I want to see pretty lights

Even if they don't do anything

They somehow bring my eyes to sparkle

Without crying

In ways I like to think they know my story

Oh pretty stars

You frame so beautifully
