Indecisive

Indecisive

A Story by Nickolas
"

Frozen into place as the darkness decends..

"
I take off into the night, as fast as ever, as fast as my feet will take me.

Too soon I realize I won't make it and the depths of the dark will encase me.

Frozen with fear and slight indecisiveness, I stop dead in my tracks. I willed myself to make a decision: turn back or full speed ahead. Then again, there's the secret decision, the one that says "don't decide", stay in place.

No matter what the dark has seen me. One escape is just as futile as one retreat. So, i'll just stand my post. Maybe luck will strike and the moonlight will shine brightly on me.

 Maybe,

just maybe.
