My Bathroom World

My Bathroom World

A Poem by WideEyedAbyss

Sitting all alone in the bathroom stall,
And somehow I know no one cares at all.
From social butterfly to antisocial queen,
Funny how changing schools can ruin an entire being.

No one beside me, no one to care,

No one to acknowledge the fact that I'm there.
I'm by myself, and that's how it will stay,
If I keep forcing smiles day to day.

I could cry, but what good would it do,

If I told you all the things you never knew?
How I'm so empty & cold inside,
How I'm dying without my pride.

Would you wipe my eyes if I let a tear fall?

Or would you pass me by, not caring at all?
I'm terrified to think of whats outside,
So I think I'll just stay in my stall and hide.

I spent six months doing nothing but hiding in a bathroom stall writing poetry and listening to music on my breaks, after moving from Australia to England and entering a new school here. Bloody scary stuff.
Your write brought back many memories. Wonderful piece

a tear I have...
a bathroom stall does not a best friend make
new schools are scary and can change us for the rest of our lives
this is a good piece of writing
that title drew me in I had to know what went with it
