Close My Eyes

Close My Eyes

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

Only to see you again

"
Another whisper in the small of her back
Another consciousness of rhythm
You seem to see me from afar
And smile at me as if we were lovers
How I badly wish we were
There would be no more rain
Making worn tracks in the dirt
No more movement to show that I lost you
But I didn't lose you
I never will is what you said
Let's sleep and smile together
Before the sun gets hold of our eyes
And shows us the world
Stay in my Dreamland
I fashioned it for only you
