There's Nothing Better

Sometimes, Death is what defines us..

It feels like a weight has been lifted

so many things to fear, fly away

escaping the hand that holds the burden inside

to finally be free from the frown on my face

I can see you crying

I can hear your tears

though I know the sobs are not for me

I can feel the pain in your heart as I leave this place

feel no remorse for the heart of a girl

but embrace the fate that kills her pain

Leaving seems overrated

it seems like a fake

jumping to conclusions too soon makes a mess of the mind

listen to the songs about love and death

and the birds that sing for me to finally fall asleep

Nothing is greater than something that’s lost

wipe away your tears

and you’ll be able to see the stars
