Patience

Patience

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

The last of the pure ones..

"

Words of history forever in my mind

leave blankets of color upon the empty ground

Do not patronize me with fears, but look up at the blue sky

his memory is full of mystery

a story untold

Steps of life leave me hanging

I am torn, LET ME GO!

The people in my head tell me not to fear what’s under my bed

Sharp pain leaves me broken

left to live in a jar

Lying tears, caged by time

die
