Just Before

Just Before

A Poem by Wild Willow Blue
"

I saw him.. Death.. I saw..

"

Come after- amid the breeze-

I saw a stillness from the trees-

Who comes from whence we shalt not know-

Is it friend? Or be it foe?

In hood of dark- nothing more-

The fainting stillness- in its eyes-

Comes sweetly- still, cold, prickling ice-

As I lay dead- just before.
