A Poem by WillaDanvers

I wasn't in a good place and I could only see the negatives in life. It has since been solved but I poured my emotions into this and didn't want to see it wasted.

Love is always conditional,
It doesn't matter the relationship,
There is always boundaries,
You'll find yourself on the outside,

They'll tell you everything is okay,
But that smile doesn't reach their eyes,
They tell you they love you always,
But they don't talk about the conditions,

Be this way, do this, don't forget this,
Be the person I have in my head and,
I promise you'll always be the one I love,
Never mind that you are someone else,

It it time to break the chains when they frown,
At the things that used to make them smile,
Where they used to shine their love,
Sits disappointment and annoyance,

Love is always set with conditions,
Nobody tells you this in the start,
Because they don't want to shatter,
Everybody's rose coloured glasses,

Where Love is happy and full of colours,
Holding your hand with a smile,
When it's really just stress and muted,
Following you along out of duty.
