The Endless Time

Something I wrote to someone I loved very much. The love may be lost, but the words remain.

Behold these beautiful words of love,

That stimulate the senses,

Tantalize the heart,

And move the soul to love and be loved.

So I write these words for you,

My Life, My Love, and My Future,

As you have captured my spirit

In a loving embrace of emotions.

In a perfect world; we could be lovers already,

Ah, but this is not a perfect world,

So we must treasure each moment

As though it were our last together.

When all is right and our time is come,

We will be given our chance at love,

The love we have so deeply sought,

Can finally be shared as it was always meant to be.

So until then, My Love -

The fond togetherness we share,

Little things we do and say,

For now these moments we’ll embrace,

The endless time that is today.
