A Rekindled Passion

A Rekindled Passion

A Poem by WindSinger

In times past the love between us was almost like a story book,

the passion strong enough to ignite a room,

however towards the end it began to have a different look,

in my heart it ended all too soon,

creating a storm full of anger and fury,

along with a mind full of worries,

as time went on I have tried new affairs,

leaving them with broken hearts and silent tears,

nothing could be like those nights by the fire,

because in my heart it was you I still admired,

despite the gnarling anger and sadness that plagues my soul,

every night I call for you hoping you will hear my call,

praying that you will see the passion I still have for you,

aching and waiting just to embrace you,

despite our moments of heated of anger and frustration,

perhaps time apart has served us well,

if that's the case only time will tell,

in my heart however I still believe,

that we are still meant to be,

if I am right I do not know,

perhaps if things were given another chance,

only then time can show,

how much my heart can dance,

with the thought at our romance.
