The Struggle Within

This is the struggle I feel my soul endures with each life I live

I am all but found
Plagued in each era
This is my journey
An everlasting voyage
From one realm to another
This ever-repeating story
Following every tunnel to the next light
Sailing through the ashes and debris
Adrift in a sea of lost memories
Bits and pieces swirl around
This tower of chaos which holds my soul
I’m looking for the way out
This heart has lived long, dark tunnels
It refuses to sleep
It takes no rests
This is my every journey
In my every lifetime
I fear what I yearn
Love is the struggle within my soul
I am lost
