OLIVER

A Poem by Windy
"

My unexpected but very welcome newest grandson.

"

A tiny being, A huge event

A gift of love, A baby "meant"

This child born into the night

Has finally set their world aright

Rare are miracles (so people think)

Yet there he is all new and pink

He lies there all wrapped in blue

His eyes of brown glance around the room

For now content, yet later he'll cry

And there Mom will be, Dad by her side

Happy and proud, a Family they'll be

As night turns to day

The precious ones sleep

beautifully penned windy.. you bring to light family values in such a manner that your words embrace the reader
in way of expressing what it means to be cherished..as you love those close to your heart.. this writing paints
a picture in detail.. texture.. showing the treasured moments of looking at something as wonderful as a newborn welcomed to the family.. and what a joyous experience to behold in all subtly.. such things tend steal the
moment in blissfulness..this writing has a lulling effect in thought. Nicely penned

Love the poem of children. This one is nicely done like your other one. Shows how much you care for children .

I love this, Windy. You must be very proud of this new bundle of joy!! Looking very forward to the tiny being and the huge event in our own household! I love your simple writings, by the way. The simpler, the better-as far as I am concerned.... Have read everyone of your writings and will review each of them as a have a moment. The punctuation will come. Give it time. You will learn as you go. Also, love your bio and I agree completely about the mean reviews. It doesn't take long to discover there are those that have certain agendas. My greatest piece of advice: Center your life around those that celebrate your life and your writing and cast the others to the wind! In the grand scheme of things, they really don't matter. :-)

nice solid peice again.
these lines
This child born into the night
Has finally set their world aright
Rare are miracles (so people think)

Yet there he is all new and pink
are very good becuase they make the reader wonder. (finaly set the wolrd alright? why how did he do that? why was it wrong before him. great questions that arise.) also could lead to a much deeper meaning.

Aww, I just love babies... They're so precious...
(I'm too young for any of my own)
I do adore them...
