Bonjour, DIVYA! I love your poem! I am very susceptible to irritants, little and large. Those pesky little ones can be so annoying and we endure their irritation for far longer than we should. Oftentimes it only takes a little effort and gumption on our part and we can find ourselves free from all that nuisance. Finding that effort is more difficult than it appears at times, though. It's a very well expressed and thoughtful musing with some clever lines and metaphors. It's great to read your words again, madamoiselle!

You have always written worlds with your words, and here, so little a stream awakens the sea. How small things can grow so big, so quickly, and overwhelm us in a breath. Powerful thoughts.

Happy New Year Divya! May this one be so full of love and light for us all.
This is a brilliant piece, both in the way you observe the world, plus how succinctly you express what you find, complete with detailed examples that hum. For financial reasons, I live in a cabin in the wilderness, rent being one-third what it is to live in town. At first (10 years ago) this felt like isolated living to me, but in time, I found I did not miss the annoyance & noise & fomenting of the human race at all. The longer I've lived here, the less I care about re-joining the typical hoards of humans "out there" in the "real world"! And I wonder why it took me until I'm 60-ish to realize how much I dislike those pests called humans! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

I relate very much as reclusivity has been kind of setting into my bones with the years. I always feel that a person thats at peace with themselves genuinely enjoy their own company. The quicker we realize we are perfectly normal, happy people doing so, the better life becomes. Thank you so much for this beautiful review, dear Margie.
