The Corner

The Corner

A Poem by Pastel Nix

Sometimes I sit alone my room.
Just me and my thoughts.
And there's this corner.
It's not a special corner.
Just a plain, white corner.
This corner just sits there.
It never does anything special.
One day, I looked at that plain, white corner.
And in that corner, sat a spider.
It wasn't a big spider.
The spider was quite small.
But this tiny spider made a web,
In this normal corner.
This tiny spider made a home,
Out of a simple corner that does nothing.
The corner isn't very special to me.
But to this little spider,
This corner is very special.
