Painting A Picture

Painting A Picture

A Poem by Pastel Nix
"

This is a poem/song I wrote a while ago on my phone. Hope you like it!

"
Bright red crimson,
Bringing color to her arm.
Tears escape her eyes,
As she causes herself harm.

The pain is almost too much,
As she cuts upon her wrist.
It's like painting a picture,
Only with a hug twist.

She swears it is the last time,
That she won't cut anymore.
But her friends all know better,
And she will only do it more.

They want to tell her parents,
But they fear she will do worse.
That she will have fatal inflections,
And end up at Death's door.

She says it helps the pain,
But they know it isn't true.
Their friend is fading away,
And they don't know what to do.

She's suffering so much,
And it hurts them deep inside.
But they have to stay strong,
And help her stay alive.

She swears it is the last time,
That she won't cut anymore.
But her friends all know better,
And she will only do it more.

They want to tell her parents,
But they fear she will do worse.
That she will have fatal inflections,
And end up at Death's door.

They reach out their hands,
And told her that they care.
She found the help she needed,
And walked far away from Death's Door.
