When I laughed and smiled

You said oh sweet child

You're always so happy 

I wish I could be too

I don't know where you get it from

I wish you could give me some

My arms wrapped around you

Kissed your cheek and said

What makes you a good mother

Is you giving a piece of your happiness

To me, to one brother and the other

But I think the problem with that is

What you forgot to leave behind

Is a bit of happiness for your own mind

So just know every moment I'm existing

My happiness has its reasons
