Day by Day

Day by Day

A Poem by Wordless_Prism

Every day I work, every day I play

Every day I see something new, and I visit old graves

Everyday fall and scrape my knees

But I always get up because I see that mistakes aren't all that is me

Everyday water runs from a green and leaky faucet

And I try to think of my dreams like a prophet

Every day Some will fall by the wayside

In the end, did they even try?

But here hope abide, where death holds his scythe

Everyday the music plays pounding and strong

But some still fall, O where did I go wrong

Every day I walk alone, everyone only wants me when I've gone

I have no master and dance to my chime

For I am time
