The Void in my Heart

So lost without you
I'm trapped in our memories
Wrapped in their warmth

Everything feels fake
It's not real
I tell myself

I need you by my side
Your love like a stone in my heart
Unable to be removed

They say time can heal it
They say someone else can fill the void
But not even stitches could fix this hole in my heart

Forget is something I'll never know
Everyday the pain grows worse
And reality fades farther away

But for you I keep moving
For you I get up each day
In hope that one day

This hole in my heart will be filled
