Wonder

~ For a Baby Girl ~

So beautiful, so precious;
A jewel of creation,
Placed in your arms to love.
The plans for her
Are unknown to all
Except to the Father above.

May her life be filled with hope,
And the courage to do what's right.
May she giggle and grow,
As little girls do,
With a heart that is happy and light.

While still in your arms,
May you hold her close,
Until the day that she spreads her wings.
And may you never forget
That sweet little smile
And the wonderful joy she brings.

I like it, it has a very motherly and kinda religious feel to it!
the flow is nice, and im always a fan of free form poetry :)
